Chris Rowoth (PhD) first began his voyage of discovery into “Intergrated medicine”, when he injured his spine, compressing two discs whilst training with the Red Devil’s display team. After many years of pain he was successfully treated by Professor Massaki Hatsumi of Japan. Inspired by the benefits of improved posture, full mobility and enhanced health, Chris now uses these methods daily.

With over 15 years of experience, Chris was one of the first “Osteopaths/Amatsu practitioners” to work within the NHS (“91-95 Ladygate lane Health Centre), a founding member of the Amatsu Natural Medicine association and consultant to the Association of Intergrated Medicine (AIM) the official register and teaching body for therapists who hold qualifications in multiple therapies.

Chris (along with many other experienced practitioners of natural medicine) believes that health and recovery is based upon the health and well being of the entire “organism” mind, body and spirit which requires an Intergrated approach using individual therapies to harmonize the whole person.

In addition to his qualifications in natural medicine, Chris is a registered master teacher of Japanese Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu (Martial Arts), Goshinjutsu (Defence of the self) and Taikyoku (Self treatment/exercises).Chris also lectures all over Europe on all of the therapies that he is qualified in.

Chris is the first non-Japanese person in over 1,000 years to be awarded the Japanese title of “Menkyo Kaiden” (Master teacher/consultant practitioner) in the medical tradition of Amatsu Medicine, a medical approach which combines physical, energy, nutritional, emotional and environmental medicine in a holistic way, to balance the person rather than just the condition.
